Bedding

Best Barley Straw and Best Cut Hay is available in bales. Not everyone can lift or store large bales of straw and hay so we now offer potato sack sized nets of straw and hay which is lighter to carry and easier to store. We also stock bales of dustless shavings.

Hatching Equipment

Hatching chicks and ducklings is just such a wonderful thing to do. From experience I have decided to stock the Brinsea Octagon Auto Advance 20. This is a very reliable fully automatic incubator for your first time hatching experience. It holds up to 24 hen eggs, 20 duck eggs or 60 quails eggs. We also stock heat lamps, bulbs and books on incubation by author ‘Katie Thear’

Gift Vouchers and Gift Shop

You may not keep poultry and waterfowl yourself but I’m sure you have a family member or friend who does? We now offer a Gift Voucher service which is proving to be very popular. We also have a large selection of poultry themed gifts so pop in and have a look.

We stock a comprehensive range of books written by the author Katie Thear. They are called ‘starting with’ and cover Quails, Ducks, Geese, Turkeys and of course Chickens. They are a comprehensive guide to keeping such birds and cover topics from which type of bird suits your requirements right through to hatching and rearing your own chicks.
